Garima Garg, wife of late singer Zubeen Garg today appealed to the public to remain calm and patient, saying that investigations into the singer’s sudden and tragic death are being carried out independently by authorities in both Singapore and Assam.

In a detailed post on Facebook, Garima Garg clarified that a statement she shared earlier had been misunderstood, as public attention focused only on its final portion. She urged people to read her full message to understand the family’s position clearly.

Garima said that from the very beginning, the family has been in constant touch with the Singapore Police. She stated that all necessary information, official statements and several important details related to Zubeen and the case have already been shared with them through emails, video calls and WhatsApp. According to her, these matters have been discussed multiple times with the authorities.

She also informed that the Singapore Police have been made aware of the investigation being conducted in Assam. However, she explained that the Singapore authorities are carrying out their inquiry independently and have clearly stated that their investigation is a separate process.

Out of respect for the legal and judicial procedures in both countries, Garima said the family has deliberately avoided making public statements or sharing information on social media. She added that the investigating officers themselves do not wish sensitive details to be disclosed, as it may violate legal norms and potentially affect the course of the investigation.

Garima cautioned that making everything public too soon can sometimes weaken a case and unintentionally help those on the opposing side.

Appealing for unity and restraint, she requested the public to stand together and create an atmosphere of cooperation and support so that justice can be delivered smoothly and fairly. She stressed that along with faith and prayer, calm and balanced thinking is essential to ensure truth prevails and wrongdoing is defeated.
