A young man from Bongaigaon district has been arrested by police for allegedly posting objectionable and provocative comments on social media related to the recent bomb blast that took place in Delhi. The arrest has drawn attention to the growing concerns over misuse of social media platforms during sensitive national incidents.

The accused has been identified as Rafijul Ali, a resident of Bongaigaon. According to police reports, soon after the Delhi blast was reported, Ali allegedly shared a post on his Facebook account that contained remarks described by authorities as objectionable and inflammatory. The post quickly began circulating online, and several users flagged it for spreading negativity and showing insensitivity toward the tragic incident.

Police said that a special team traced the origin of the post and confirmed that it was uploaded from Ali’s account. Following this, he was detained for questioning and later taken into custody. Officers stated that the post had the potential to disturb public harmony and create unnecessary tension at a time when the country is already on alert following the Delhi explosion.
