Artist manager Tarsem Mittal appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Guwahati on Thursday after being summoned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case related to popular Assamese singer Zubeen Garg.
Mittal, who had been called in for questioning, reached the CID office in the afternoon. According to sources, the SIT wanted to record his statement and seek clarification on certain details linked to the ongoing investigation. The officers reportedly questioned him for several hours about his communication and professional association with Zubeen Garg prior to the incident that brought the case into focus.
