Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma has been honoured with the Silver Elephant Award, the highest recognition given by the Bharat Scouts and Guides for outstanding service to the scouting movement. The award was presented during a major national event held at the Lucknow Jamboree, where President Droupadi Murmu officiated the ceremony.

The Silver Elephant Award is known for its strict selection process and is given only to individuals who have made exceptional contributions towards strengthening scouting activities in India. With this honour, Lalduhoma becomes only the third person from Mizoram to receive this prestigious award, making it a notable moment for the state.

The citation presented to the Chief Minister highlighted his consistent support for youth development and his efforts to encourage the values of discipline, service, and leadership among young people. The award plaque carried his name and photograph, along with the symbolic silver elephant medal, which is considered a rare distinction in the scouting community.
