The National People’s Party (NPP) has formally announced the unanimous nomination of M. Rameshwar Singh, MLA, as the Leader of the Legislature Party in the Manipur Legislative Assembly. The decision comes into effect immediately, according to an official communication issued by the party from its headquarters in Shillong.
M. Rameshwar Singh, who has been serving as an MLA in Manipur, now takes on the additional responsibility of leading the NPP Legislature Party. As the leader, he will be tasked with coordinating party activities within the Assembly, representing party positions in legislative discussions, and guiding the party’s legislative strategy in the state.
The National People’s Party, with its headquarters at PA Sangma Building, Bivar Road, Polo Hills, Shillong, has been actively working to consolidate its position in various northeastern states, including Manipur. The party has emphasized that Rameshwar Singh’s leadership will help in maintaining party discipline and advancing legislative priorities effectively.
