In Guwahati, a young fan of Zubeen Garg showed his love in a very special way. Rakesh Singh, a resident of the city and a well-known admirer of late singer Zubeen Garg, booked an entire cinema hall to pay tribute to the beloved artist. This special gesture took place at Grand Royal Cines in Sixmile, Guwahati, where the film Roi Roi Binale was screened.
Rakesh Singh did not book the hall for celebrities, VIPs, or any big guests. Instead, he reserved the full hall for his cafe workers, their families, and some close friends. A total of 107 tickets were arranged for the screening. Many said it did not feel like a movie outing, but more like a family gathering dedicated to someone very close to everyone’s hearts. Singh also gave leave to all his employees for the day so they could attend the show without worry.
This tribute was not only about watching a film. It was also an emotional reminder of the day Zubeen Garg himself inaugurated Singh’s cafe on August 14. That memory made the occasion even more personal and meaningful for Rakesh and everyone present. Many people attending the show recalled that moment and spoke about how Zubeen always supported young entrepreneurs and local talent.
