Garima Garg shares heartfelt tribute to husband Zubeen, demands justice

Garima Saikia Garg, wife of the late singer and cultural icon Zubeen Garg, expressed her deep grief and longing for her husband in an emotional Facebook post on Tuesday. In a message that has touched fans, Garima wrote:
“মোৰ বুকুত মুৰ থৈ কৈছিলা, ‘তোমাৰ প্ৰতিটো স্পন্দনত ইমান স্পষ্ট যে মোৰ নাম?’ শুনি আছানে আজিও কিমান আকুলতাৰে, কিমান হেঁপাহেৰে মাতি আছো মই?”
Translated into English, she asked: “You had rested your head on my chest and asked, ‘In every beat of your heart, is my name so clear?’ Even today, can you hear how fervently, how passionately I call out to you?”

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Assam Police, led by Special DGP Munna Prasad Gupta, is actively pursuing leads related to the case. On Monday, three Assamese residents of Singapore – Jolongsat Narzary, Parikshit Sharma, and Siddharth Bora – appeared for questioning, as they were present with Zubeen Garg during the yacht ride to Lazarus Island where the tragedy occurred. Another Singapore-based resident is expected to cooperate with the investigation soon, as authorities work to ensure a timely and thorough conclusion.
