Search teams recovered the fourth body from the Brahmaputra, days after a group of devotees went missing while taking a ritual bath. The incident occurred near Kharghuli area under the Guwahati city limits.

The deceased has been identified as Abhijit Choudhury, a resident of Uzan Bazaar. His remains were located and retrieved during a continued search operation carried out by personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). Search teams have been patrolling the riverbanks and deploying boats since the tragedy unfolded.

According to officials, one person from the group is still untraceable.
