Starting from November 22, 2025, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have started visiting households across the state to ensure the voter list is accurate and up to date.

According to the Chief Electoral Officer of Assam, a total of 29,656 BLOs have been deployed to cover 25,200,775 voters across 25,200,775 polling stations in the state. To assist them in this extensive exercise, 61,533 Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by recognised national and state political parties will be working alongside the BLOs.

The Special Revision uses January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date for determining voter eligibility. Citizens are urged to cooperate with BLOs during the house visits and provide accurate information to help maintain a correct and comprehensive voter list.
