The counting of votes for the Bihar Assembly elections concluded today with a clear message from the people. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has secured a historic victory, crossing the 200-seat mark and emerging as the single largest force in the state. The opposition Mahagathbandhan faced a severe setback, failing to retain even key strongholds such as Raghopur, where RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav managed a narrow win.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation after the results were declared, praising the voters for their trust in the NDA. He said the people of Bihar have rejected the old “Jungle Raj” era and the communal politics of the past. Highlighting the state’s youth and women, he termed the result as a new “Mahila-Youth Mandate,” emphasizing that the aspirations of young voters have played a crucial role in shaping the verdict. He also criticized Congress as a “parasite party” and predicted internal divisions within the opposition.

NDA leaders celebrated the victory across Bihar and in Delhi. BJP chief JP Nadda thanked Prime Minister Modi, calling the mandate a result of the people’s unwavering faith in him. Nitish Kumar, the state’s longest-serving Chief Minister, expressed gratitude to voters and NDA allies for ensuring a united front and a strong majority. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh joined the celebrations at party headquarters in Delhi.

The results showed that the NDA’s strategy of booth-level planning and constant monitoring paid off. Each constituency had a dedicated team reporting daily to the central unit, allowing rapid response and adjustment of campaign strategies. Analysts say this approach helped the NDA outperform the opposition across most districts, even in areas traditionally dominated by RJD.
