A body of a young man was recovered near Khanapara on Monday morning. Police officials confirmed that a Zubeen Garg Volunteer identity card was found on the body.
According to initial information, locals spotted the body lying near a drain close to the Khanapara flyover and immediately informed the Dispur Police Station. A police team reached the spot soon after and sent the body for post-mortem examination to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
