The much-awaited trailer of “Roi Roi Binale” has finally been released, giving fans a glimpse into the heart and soul of the project. The trailer was shared by Garima Garg on her Facebook page, accompanied by a heartfelt message dedicated to her brother Zubeen Garg. She wrote, “Look, Goldie… your long-cherished and much-loved ‘Roi Roi Binale’ is gradually taking shape! Everyone is trying their best to carry out the work well, following your words, to make your wishes and dreams come true. May you continue to bless us… and guide us.”
The trailer opens with a haunting opera music score. In the very first scene, Zubeen Garg is seen delivering a strong line: “Time… I fear nothing more than the time.” The words set the tone for a story that explores the challenges faced by an artist navigating both life and creativity.
A young heroine appears in the trailer, mesmerized by Zubeen’s singing. She says, “You sing so beautifully. I want everyone to listen to your songs.” However, the optimism of art is quickly contrasted by harsh realities. Another character appears with a practical mindset, asking, “Milk or songs… business is business. You just need to sell.” Zubeen responds, expressing the frustration of many artists: “It is all about money… everyone is money-minded.”
The trailer further reveals the conflict between personal loss and professional demands. A character coldly remarks, “Even if your mother dies… the show must go on.” To this, Zubeen asserts his identity as an artist: “I am not blind. I am an artist… and artists should have only one politics—to stand with the masses and not with the politicans or monarchs.”
An elderly man in the trailer speaks on the true power of music, saying, “The world’s most beautiful emotions in the world is music.”
The trailer also captures moments of vulnerability and struggle. Zubeen is seen contemplating life, saying, “The sea is really very vast… will I be able to swim?” The scene turns tense as he appears to drown, only to be rescued by a friend who reassures him, “Are you fine… you will be fine. Don’t worry, get up… bloody heartthrob… are you going to stop?”
