SIT conducts raids at Siddharth Sharma’s businesses in Zubeen Garg case

The SIT conducted operations at the Chaygaon Industrial Development Center, a site under Sharma’s ownership, and also at Mahavir Aqua, a packaged drinking water unit.

In the investigation into the death of popular singer Zubeen Garg, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) carried out raids at multiple business establishments linked to Siddharth Sharma, the controversial manager of the late artist.

The SIT conducted operations at the Chaygaon Industrial Growth Center, a site under Sharma’s ownership, and also at Mahavir Aqua, a packaged drinking water unit. Sources said the water unit currently has no visible nameplate. Around a year ago, Sharma had purchased the unit, which previously produced other products, but it had not been made operational until recently. The SIT’s operation at the premises lasted for several hours, with employees reportedly being called in to provide statements and cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation.
