In a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the sudden death of renowned singer-composer Zubeen Garg, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is set to hand over the singer’s viscera report to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today. The report, prepared in New Delhi, is expected to provide critical insights into the exact circumstances surrounding Garg’s untimely demise.
According to official sources, the SIT will formally submit the forensic findings to Chief Minister Sarma on the morning of Saturday, October 11. The results of the viscera analysis are likely to play a key role in determining whether the death of the acclaimed artist was due to natural causes or if other factors were involved. This step marks a crucial phase in the Crime Investigation Department’s (CID) ongoing probe into the case.
Earlier, Chief Minister Sarma had assured the public that a charge sheet in the matter would be filed within three months. He emphasized the government’s commitment to a transparent and time-bound investigation, promising that all necessary steps would be taken to ensure justice.
