The Nagaon Foreigners’ Tribunal has declared fifteen individuals as foreign nationals of Bangladeshi origin and ordered that they be deported from India within the next 24 hours. The order was issued on Wednesday following the tribunal’s decision based on legal examination of documents and records.

Following the directive, the Nagaon police took all fifteen individuals into custody. Officials said they are being shifted to the Matia Detention Camp, where they will stay until authorities complete the legal and administrative procedures required before deportation.

Nagaon District Commissioner Devashish Sharma issued the formal deportation order after receiving the tribunal’s findings. Officials confirmed that the process will take place in coordination with the Border Security Force. The BSF is expected to hand over the individuals to Bangladeshi authorities at the international border later tonight.
